Happy new month!!!

Let's get into action!!!.
According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, Meditation is an "Act or process of spending time in quiet thoughts : the act or process of meditating.
According to compare camp, it is said that "the number of people who practice meditation globally is estimated at 200 to 500 million". This is not even up to half of the world's population.
Meditation helps you avoid distraction. It's like what they call, " A quiet time". It helps you relieve stress and anxiety.
Even God understood the power in meditation, when he told Joshua in
Joshua 1:8 AMP
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful".
We can also use this in our communication with God.
Meditation helps you to think, relieve stress, plan. It helps you to be mindful of your surroundings.
So, let's see the steps on how to meditate.
1. You need to ask yourself what you want to gain out of the meditation. For example, to gain insight into a problem, to learn how to focus, reduce anger, develop more energy or to get better sleep.
2. Choose a meditation technique to meet your goals and personality.
According to the Psychologists, there are different ways of meditating which is dependent on what you want to gain from meditating;
Mindfulness meditation is good for people who are easily distracted and looking to improve their focus and concentration.
If you are an active person who has a hard time sitting still, you might want to consider a meditation technique such as walking meditation where you can move and be outside.
Loving-kindness meditation is often recommended for people wanting to feel more compassionate.
3. Manage your expectations. There are a lot of books, articles, and online resources that promise amazing transformations ( You can check out Jay shetty on YouTube and Instagram about meditation), but it’s a good idea to keep your expectations reasonable. Changing the way you think or feel through meditation can take a long time to achieve.
Learning how to meditate takes time and practice, so don’t expect to be comfortable with it immediately.
4. Plan your meditation time. As a new person to meditation, you can start as low as 3 to 5 minutes and steadily increase the time process. Ideally, the best times are in the early morning or late at night, when it typically is more peaceful and quiet around you and you can relax properly.
You might not always have the full time you would like, but planning your meditation time will help you get in the right mindset to meditate.
5. Set ground rules. It will help you to know how to get back into the meditation process when being disturbed or interrupted.
6. Find a good place to meditate. Ensure the place has a lot of air especially a garden will be fine for meditating.
7. Relax before starting. Your meditation will be more successful if you can take a few minutes to relax before you get started. Try some of these techniques to get in the right space to meditate:
Practice tensing and relaxing groups of muscles.
Imagine a tranquil scene. Imagination is key.
Listen to soft music.
Take deep breaths.
Try stretching.
