Why is keeping your eyes on the prize essential?.

What results happen when you keep your eyes on the prize?.

Does it make you feel less stressed or happier?.

If keeping your eyes on the prize is important, why do people forget or decide not to keep their eyes on the prize?.

Ever thought of being focused?.

Being focused means you have clear goals and objectives and work is dedicated to achieving those goals and objectives.

To keep your eyes on the prize i.e ( your goals, objectives, e.t.c.), you have to be focused.

it's difficult for people to remain focused on a particular task for some reasons.

For one, we live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with lots of things or distractions such as the internet, TV, radio, e.t.c.

There were two people who had different goals and ambitions. one took his ambitions seriously with self-discipline and achieved his goals. The other did otherwise and let distractions into his life. He also let in procrastination and lack of self-discipline but he realized that he could suffer the pain of regret.

Procrastination is a silent killer. When we procrastinate, we delay our goals.

Someone said, "You're proud if you procrastinate because you feel like you know that you have tomorrow".

Take a look at that sentence again, what do you think about it?

We need self-discipline to keep our eyes on prize.

The prize should be something positive that would impact you and others, not having misplaced priorities.

There is joy in accomplishing that goal of yours because it's for your goal and your self-fulfillment

Philippians 3:14,

" I press on to reach the end of the race and to receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us".

"Press on toward the goal to win the ( heavenly ) prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus". And don't forget to ask GOD for help and direction, He's always with us.
